So I ended up breaking down and buying one of these snazzy deals.
It's a Roku Automatic Netflix player. I have hopes that eventually Netflix will have a larger selection of watch instantly movies and TV shows. But for the moment I love it because I just found 8 seasons of a particular show that I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be the person I am today without it.

On foreign films... I first saw Shall We Dance at the International Film Festival in Portland, OR when I still lived there, in a tiny crowded overheated theater. I think there may have even been people smoking. It was just such a wierd, old-time movie atmosphere, and the crowd laughed at all the right times and clapped at the end - not the usual reaction to a foreign film if you see it in a multiplex.
