hey sg land!
so i am back in this pink world quicker than i thought, and have caught up with just about all of you fine friends
new year's was the best i've had. strangely low turn-out for my friend widget's annual birthday bbq at carl's place, but then widget, myself and our friend pat headed into the city for a hardcore punk show. i normally avoid the city on new year's eve (and other times that there will be lots of crowds) but i couldn't miss seeing limp wrist! not only them but half my favourite melbourne crust/punk bands, it was such a rad night! two friends from brisbane came down to party with me too, b2 from Bad Day Down and his lady Kate Disgrace from the Hecklers.
also in melbourne was my excellent friend lauren. the day we returned from brisbane lauren and i drove for an hour to ballarat to hang with our equally excellent friend linda, yay!
trial for a part-time kitchen-hand (second) job this thurs. university entry revealed next sunday.
i mentioned last post carl and i were having issues - i think we've worked them out now. among other things, carl wanting to back out on our plan to get our own place this year. that plan is now back on, to happen in the next few months.
and now, pictures!
me and carl in brisbane
two of my favourite girls, regan and julee. i heart them!
regan and paddy, who got engaged a week later
me with our host pete at his boxing day birthday bash
loz and linda
pisschrist on new year's, dressed for the occasion
the almighty (and almost all naked) limp wrist!
me and kate
kate and ben
so, in 2006 i started uni, quit uni, got a full-time job, quit my full-time job, spent a lot of time being broke but still travelled around the country making new friends and seeing rad bands. plan to do more of that last bit this year and for the rest of my life!
luv to you all, and don't forget Pistolita!

Oh, and how good are abc weapons!!!
I know antisocial all too well. It's me. It's who I am. But just like you, some events are just too special to pass up on them.
