oh my fucking god I simply can not WAIT for my copy of lunar park to arrive. NEVER before have I awaited something to come in the mail with such anticipation. Usually stuff from amazon.com takes ab out 4--5 days to arrive (since its shipped from Hong Kong in the Asia-Pacific region) but I KNOW that because I am waiting on this with bated breath that it will take the 7-10 working days. I am reading the Q&A with Bret for the zillionth time, marvelling at how incredibly intelligent and clever and wonderful he is.
There is no way in hell i would be able to wait until the Australian November release date. That is just disgusting. UGH HOW COULD WE B.E.E. FANS DOWN UNDER WAIT THREE EXTRA MONTHS!?!?!
I know that once I read it, I shall be terribly inspired and I will be able to write write write again. I hate having the period of writers block, where I have to leave either my novel or one of my major projects lurking and do little bits and pieces just to keep the creative flowing.
That reminds me, i need to have SOMETHING, ANYTHING for thursday because I have an interview for the creative writing project major work and I have ideas and rough sketches in my head but nothing comprehensible outside of it.
It is one of my missions in life to meet Bret Easton Ellis.
Ugh, and its that inevitable few days of the month where I am ridiculousley over emotional and self-loathing. yea. just a warning. so play nice.
the end.

Having said that Bret Easton Ellis is one of the only authors I pick up, start and finish. He's completely gripping. Genius all through. Looking forward to reading more.
