preparations for the thailand vacation are underway: this weekend we will be renting "the beach" and squealing with delight over leo's antics with wacky hippies. i can't wait to be on the beach with my fruity drink. not here with the cold and the stink. yo.
stuff i'm thinking about:
1. why is it that we can only appreciate our lives from far away? i had to leave mine way back west in order to realize how much i loved it...
2. who's your favorite monkeyboy? i like the one from hanson the best.
3. when i get home, i must ensure that i can continue to live my rockstar life style- i.e. go out to eat and drink fairly regularly, and not have to worry about money. still pay rent, have time off, and most importantly, to shop- without a second thought- in the fancy cheese section of the store. ( not the regular one, mind you, with all that kraft bullshit... the area with the goat cheese and brie.) i've become accustomed to an easy job, and easy money, and very low cost of living... i think i'm in for a wake-up call. well, but here there is no cheese but processed cheese. so what's the point of having easy money when all you can do is drink bad beer or soju and got no cheese?
