Addie walked herself home from the off-leash park yesterday. Hubby took her to the park, she went into stealth-mode, and just as he was starting to talk himself out of panic--she was at our front door barking to be let in.
Only--I heard her outside, but assumed hubby and doggie had run into Auntie Oryx outside. So I thought nothing of it.
Until our neighbour...

I instantly thought of you

I'm watching the puppies again right now. RIGHT NOW.
mk700c:
that's 50 more than 200!

Congratulations, that's 250 km more than I've ever run.
Well, that's not entirely true, I guess. I run to catch mass transit, or when chased. Though thankfully (or unfortunately?) the latter rarely happens.
Also, you have arguably the most agreeable Top Ten section ever assembled.

Penelope's gone.
She had one more batch of babies, and had recently started venturing out of her web to visit the kids, but last night she didn't come back. I'll wait a few more days, and if she's still not back, I'll vacuum up her web and let the kids move in.

she was venturing to EAT HER KIDS!!!
AND YOUR BRAINS!

Poor Addie Hope all the pups of the world get better soon!

This is just a ploy to avoid house guests.

Interesting! I'll check it out.
You're right of course... my brother's advice was "drink as much beer as you can". (He is the most widely-traveled person I know.) Another friend who spent 5 years living in Germany had one recommendation - and that was just a specific brand of beer.
The other pointer was "stay out of the reeperbahn", so I guess I'll try and fill that void with yogurt.

Thank you, Ginny.
You've been with us through Goochie (I remember) & now Monty. And I know you understand.
Love to you & yours....... especially the furry ones.

At the moment I'm quite convinced there can be nothing worse than having a cold when it's 40+ (104+) degrees out.
On second thought, my sore throat making my morning coffee taste like ash might trump that.

Oh man, I messed up, for some reason i thought we used to say, "I know, Right" to make fun of that girl ... but then I realized that it was, in fact, "Are you kidding me right now?"

Funny that in the past I've considered it impossible for me to visit your neck of the woods because of the weather, and I now live in a place that has been consistently colder so far this year. We're calling it "Juneuary".
This has been keeping me busy.
The maples have just about shed all their yellow spawn, so I'm finally able to enjoy spring. Everything is still fresh and green with splashes of vibrant pinks, whites and purples. It's the kind of weather where I long for a garden with peonies, ranunculuses, lilacs, flowering almonds, crabapples, cherries, roses, ivy, gerber daisies, and some wild looking weedy...

Still feeling out of sorts after being the Production Designer on a feature that shot in 10 days: The art department came out sleep-deprived, and under-budget.
I:
I:
- lost 7 nails
- lost more than 37 hours of sleep
- put in about 600km on my car, and at least 500 on the production vehicles
- experienced 3 snow storms
- had a flat tire on a uhaul in a...

I'm working on the lighting design for Cul-de-sac by Daniel MacIvor. Good show, terrible production. Honestly, while trying to make this show more edgy these kids (second year university) have made it the most boring piece of theatre I've seen in years. First off, they've changed this one man show about appropriating and re-telling stories into a seven actor play. Right there you've got a...

awesome! I saw! I'm Mrs. Gummi Bear on the site, if you didn't know. I just thought your wedding was gorgeous!
lizfitts:
I did see the Plott Hound - a lovely dog. Have you checked out the breed competition videos on the Westminster site? Pretty cool! We got all weepy with dog love watching the show.
(I've never seen such beautiful wedding pictures as yours. Hope you & the guy are blissfully happy. )

If I use 'splendid' for both the photos and the wedding is that excessive? Kudos on your wedding dress, it really is special and unique. Please give my regards to Calla for great work on a great occasion.
