I offered to do the lighting design for a play an aquaintance of mine is writing. For free. I wish I hadn't. I want to back out. When I perceive people don't know what they're doing it makes me nervous. Is it them or is it me? They want me to send a sample of the lighting plot to the technician at the theatre. How can I do that if I haven't even seen a single run-through? They also continually call me at home when I said they should use my cell phone as the primary contact. And though they know I live in the suburbs they want to meet me at night. And the script is awful. Really. It's bad. Picture it--lots of fighting, racial tension, wives leaving...but they COME BACK to say "I'm pregnant! It's twins!"
At least I was smart enough to say no to the set design.
In other news, I'm signing up for yoga. I need to learn to stretch and relax. I've been having problems with my shoulder, and I'm hoping this will solve them.
I am wearing my Wednesday underwear on Tuesday. I'm a rebel.
