I'm organizing a Treasure Hunt for some kids that are coming to a BBQ at my parents' house on Saturday, but I have no idea how to gauge whether a clue is too difficult or too simple. The kids are all around 7 or 8, but they don't seem as eager to solve problems as I was at that age. I'm trying to stick to clues that have to do with Disney movies, but I'm running out of ideas! I have no idea how observant children are.
For example, will kids remember that Lumiere was a candlestick? Will they remember that Bambi called the skunk "Flower"? Are they patient enough to look for a tree that has acorns on it? Will they remember who and what Mr. Hiss was? Do they even KNOW who Chip and Dale are? I don't even see Mickey very often anymore.
Am I really old?
I'll let you know how it goes.
