Thanks for the tips everyone. But I was running and I was burning virtually no calories*. How is biking different?
I have a bike, but I won't be using it for a while. A guy at work had his chain fall off and he broke his wrist. I'll have to forget about that before I get serious about biking.
*Note: Virtually no calories = 400. In 40 minutes.

What is the bloody point? I work by ass off for an hour at the gym, jogging the entire time, and I burn the equivalent of a bagel and an apple juice. I give up.
