Reading:
The Emperor by Ryszard Kapuscinski.
Read:
The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford. Very engaging, but the ending was a bit abrupt and disappointing. I'm extremely picky about endings. A good many books have been ruined for me in the last few pages if not last few lines.
Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. Would probably be George W.'s favourite book if only they made it into a cartoon. Hokey, overdone, possibly the saddest book I've ever read, but required reading for anyone with a hunting dog, and especially a coonhound.
Photographing:
Mostly dogs at the dog park. Addie and I have had great puppy funtimes at the Brickworks dog park these past few weeks. The Chocolate Chunk (the fattest, cutest chocolate lab I've ever met--and I'm not a fan of labs--Finnegan) remains the most adorable dog at the dog park, and my newest obsession.
I'd post my most recent pictures, but I'm lately taken with good ol' film photography, so it's a little more difficult. However, you can stay abreast of Oryx's and my photographic antics here.
