so, this past friday in ny i saw 'pedro the lion' perform at bowey ballroom with alexis, and it was totally incredible!!! then afterwards, david b. (pedro himself) was standing at the bar all by himself waiting to buy a drink....so, with the encouragement of alexis, i went up to him and offered to buy him a drink, which he graciously accepted. it was so so great just to chat with him for a few minutes. what a thrill for me!!! i felt like a little kid again.
in a couple of weeks i'm going back to see Luna play at the same venue in their final ny appearance (they're finally breaking up) which should be just as amazing. then off to LA for some warm sunshine..woo-hoo!!!
