So today I went to see my advisor so that I can return to *the* University of Texas in the Spring.
She was single-handedly the most attentive and supportive person I've ever spoken to at the University. Too bad she wasn't around when I stopped going to my classes because I couldn't decide whether I wanted to do that or slit my wrists.
She had already written up my new degree plan, figured out what courses I still needed to take to finish my major, and had even worked out arrangements to allow me to take less than 12 hours since I'm working full-time. All before I walked in the door. She was so sympathetic and understanding to my needs, and even said that she knew I would succeed this time around, and gave me her home & office numbers & e-mails so that I could get in touch with her whenever I wanted.
I am SO. effing. excited.
Today, the University of Texas.
Tomorrow, the world.
