I wanna wanna wanna rock and roll.
I saw a few groovy bands last night at the Underground.
The headliner had my booty shaking and my lips parted in delight.

I saw a gal I went on a few dates with last time I was back from HK in the summer of 2004. When we last parted ways I didn't bother to get any contact information from her, which as I found out last night, bothered her a bit.
OH yeah I joined the myspace army! Hazah! A friend of mine has been harrassing me to join for the past few months, so I caved and did it a few night's ago.

Here's a song I wrote about a part of Huxley's, 'Island' that I really enjoyed.
It's about how buddha said that he will show you sorrow, and then he said that he'd show us the end of sorrow.
This song is about a particular god on this island, Pala and how he just dances around.
There was a bit later on in the novel that mentioned that the bones of a dancer allow her to do amazing things with her body, but it's those same bones that give rise to arthritis and the dancer being confined to a wheelchair in her old age.
I think this tune sounds a bit like elliot smith when I sing it....but that's likely just wishful thinking.

Keep on striving for open eyes.
you ask why you suffer though you're good
keep on dancing on by
keep on dancing on by
landscape gives us distance, gives us dust
there's a whole universe just outside your door
you get a compliment and you react, you don't respond
the bones that keep you up are the bones that keep you down
keep on dancing on by
keep on dancing on by
you ask me why I waste my time with all my stupid words
you tell me that I waste my time on all those other girls
well here's a post mortem for your rhetoric and verse
you are caught up in the fashion of feeling sorry for yourself
you are freightened by the wind and the snow that's building up, and you're car's going to go off the road
well keep on dancing on by
