Career advancement and new house! 2 pics
Good morning folks,
thanks to new friends for adding me
how lively I feel at 4am on a Sunday! And it's a good job, for I have a big day at work ahead.
Toothache was so bad when I got home from work I couldn't concentrate on anything. Tramadol and a 600mg Brufen lulled me to sleep at 7:30pm, so I got my 7 hours.
We're putting on an open day for the newest part of our business today. Did a mail shot to 1100 salons and individual therapists so Lord knows how many are going to turn up, could be 50, could be 500!! The caterers are delivering continental breakfast for 150 at 7:30, so the hungry ones had better turn up early.
Shall be looking every bit the professional today.
Uniform and matching accessories? Check!
Immaculate toes and fingernails? Check!
Blonde and neon ginger hair sculpted to perfection? Check!
Spray tan looking flawless, natural and sumptuous? Check!
My role today is at the demo table. I shall be showcasing the newest, most technologically advanced products and application methods for nail enhancement available in the world to Scotland's beauty industry students and professionals.
The sun is starting to rise and birds are singing to me through my open bedroom window.
I love my new place It's more than I could have hoped for. I moved out of my parents' 5 years ago but this is the first time I've lived without a boyfriend. I was so scared, but now I realise my fear was unnecessary. My bedroom is blissfully my own..
Orange velvet curtains,
fresh flowers,
a bookcase full of poems (and porn),
bass guitars hanging on the walls,
sparkling en suit shower room,
view from the window of the pretty garden...
Ah, sweet sanctuary!
Flat mate and I getting on famously.
Colin and I have been mates since we were 14. Now we're being likened to a stoner version of Will and Grace
As I slept on my front I felt raspberry coloured love hearts popping out from between my shoulder blades and floating off to those in need of them.
