it seems my poor little pmt'd brain has been hurting me
to the doctor i shall go
to plead not insanity
but hormonal dysfunction

thousands of woman wrongly diagnosed
with mental illnesses
bipolar disorder
anti depressants

why must we suffer this way?
not all woman
but some
plagued by this
unable to control it

i have been on the pill for ten years
for longer than i have been an adult
i can't expect there not to be side effects
