Well hello there folks. I'm so pleased to be back after such a long absence from the site, a lot has changed in four years and I'm having great fun catching up with everything I've missed out on. We have foreverlost to blame/thank for my return, some gentle persuasion will go a long way it seems.
This morning I have woken up on my couch with the window wide open and a lovely cool breeze blowing in from outside. All I can see is blue behind the blonde sandstone of my neighbours across the road - not a cloud in the sky.
I live one up in a tenement block in the south side of Glasgow. It's a long, straight, fairly quiet Avenue, main road at one end, trees, flowers and a river at the other. I like it here, after a strange, unsettled couple of years I finally feel at home again.
If I were in the mood to be productive there is a great deal I could be getting on with today. I've gotten quite a few of my belongings out of storage recently so organising, finding places for everything and ridding myself of junk should be high on my list of priorities.... But hey.. Lo har maana, no problema... de nada.
I'm in the process of setting up my own little home recording studio, a quarter of my living room shall be devoted to it. Living with an audio engineer for several years has given me the bug! I still have a lot to learn but I'm getting there. There are sure to be many photos once it's finished, and hopefully some decent music all of my own to be proud of.
I think it's time for smoking and drinking cold ginger beer so I shall sign off for now.
Thank you for reading.
Can't decide if I look thoughtful or utterly thoughtless in this one....
