On to much more pressing matters than sex and what not, well, not entirely- yesterday I was in the library when I could not go for about 5 minutes of reading without thinking about sex. I am SO serious!! I would start to read and my mind would just keep wandering to any sort of carnal desire- I will not elaborate- the point here is that I became so distracted that I gave up my studies and headed to the bathroom stall and relieved my tension- BAH,I am pathetic-
IN OTHER NEWS: The trip to LA went very well- actually better than expected. I arrived at the campus the following day and there was chaos. I checked to see where I would be displaying my work and I was HORRIFIED!! I had come down to do a POSTER presentation of my work and in the schedule they had me down for an ORAL presentation!! YIKES!! No paper, no notes, NADA, just my niftry poster- but in the end I decided to wing the 30 minute presentation and I kicked MAJOR ASS!! I had people asking me questions and had a couple of faculty ask me about my work- so it was all good- THE BEST compliment I got however was from a Faculty member of Layola Marymount. She was asking what I was planning to do after I graduated and I told her I was in the process of applying to grad schools in the UK and she was like NO!! She was telling me that I should seriously consider applying to UC Santa Cruz's History of Consciousness program instead- I was like OK- whatever, but then I found out what all the fuss was about and DAMN!!!!!!- No person from my department- (Comparative History of Ideas) has ever been accpeted into that program. EVER! and that is saying a lot cause traditionally my department are all a bunch od intellectual FREAKS!! so, I was SWEET- it was just enough to be encouraged, so maybe I will think about it- but who knows- WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? HAHAHHAHAH....
School has been NUTS!!! But, next quarter is my LAST quarter and I am so psyched. I have decided to deferr grad school for another year and perhaps do some research with faculty in the Midwet. Right now I am looking at University of Chicago, Ohio State, Univerity of Illinois and Indiana- so all you Midwest Bitches better have a welcome committee started soon.
In other news, as of right now, I am still HORNY- the kid sitting next to me is HOT- hotness bounds all around me at the computer lab- you wouldnt think so, but it does- one of the advantages of going to a big University- Looks like I am gonna have to cash in my open realtionship chips soon-
