I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! It was certainly nice to see extended family and play with lots of vintage goodies. I've just come to realize that exactly a year to this day (and around about this time of morning), I very nearly died of pancreatitus due to excessive alcohol consumption, there is no denying the fact that it was the alcoholism that prompted my near-death moment on a grotty bathroom floor, resulting in a New Year strapped to a drip of morphine. In light of this, it's best to look on such situations as a milestone of progression.

When I went back to University I had to give up drink, regardless of how difficult I found it. Nevertheless, I'm glad I did and am certainly a better person for it. But I will let you be the judge of that ha!
