I love fall. However, I do not love waking up to darkness at 7am when I have to get to class. When it's dark outside I just want to stay in bed and sleep. Especially this morning. After a long weekend of work I did not want to wake up and come to school. Unfortunately I've already missed one of my three absenses for all my classes. I know that it's not good to miss class just because but sometimes you just need a day off. Whether it's because you're sick or you're tired or whatever I feel like I have a right to my three absenses. Of course, if missing a class will put me way behind then I don't do it, but that's rarely the case. And I have a system. I miss one class at the begining of the semester, one in the middle, and one towards the end. I wish it could be like that with work. Although I could take a personal day I would be risking criticism and/or punishment from my employer. I suppose it's not worth it even though after taking seventeen credit hours of class on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays the last thing I want to do is get up and go to work on Thursdays. Luckily for me I work at a place with a lot of available alcohol (including a beer list with like sixty different beers). When I'm pursuing a career in what I'm studying (radio broadcast) taking days off won't be so easy. Not that it's easy when you're a waitress. But another nice thing about fall is Halloween! Only 24 more days until Halloween. Halloween is my favorite holiday and always has been. I really want to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz or Alice from Alice in Wonderland. But if I'm Dorothy i want some nice blood and guts coming out of my head or something because I really feel that the Wicked Witch of the West could have destroyed her. But lets face it, Dorothy costumes are way hotter than the Wicked Witch of the West. There are these Wizard of Oz Dolls at McDonalds for the Happy Meals and I really want them. I know I'm lame but I really like the Wizard of Oz. This has been a long and random blog so I will stop typing with that lame thought.
