I haven't written anything here in a long time. I was sort of waiting for the drama to pass.

I also had to take some time and consider if I wanted to remain here since the site has evolved so much from how it began.

After thinking about it a bit, I decided that the whole frigging web has evolved from how it began, and why wouldn't it?

I became a web publisher ten years ago last week. I remember so well writing messages on the tree trunks at cyborganic and playing with the refrigerator magnets, and who could forget the loser who lives upstairs?

I remember predicting to a friend that it wouldn't be long before the web was taken over by scam artists and marketing assholes.

I'm real sorry that prediction came true.
