My favorite song when I was eight.
It shocked my aunts and uncles. I knew all the words.
(In the back seat, teaching my cousins the song).
Is it really that bad? Seemed funny then
and now.
I have a terrible radar for what offends people. Plus,
I kinda enjoy it. It's true.
I like Don Rickles.
What can I say?
How about-
why the fuck don't you,
you hockey puck?
I also taught others how to cuss,
I remember being five and being quite specific:
Hell is spelled H-E-double hockey sticks.
That felt naughty at the time.
It also felt like 'Fuck it.'
Hell,
now that I think about it,
I also told friends that
Santa,
the Easter Bunny,
all that shit was bullshit.
Ya dig? (And
yo).
I was right, and
now we all now,
but some resisted;
asked their parents,
and I got in trouble.
Sorta. Some weren't supposed to talk to me.
That never lasted.
Really,
how could it?

There is something brilliantly offensive about the way they say twat, pronounced twa at with a long a, to rhyme with at.
Re: the work, that was just a sketch I know the two characters sound the same, I was in a mood when I began, and I will expand and rew-write before I move forward... not til after christmas though, I ended up working at a bistro with a lot of frenchies, shift beers and mellow guys, seems alright, but christmas is still nuts. Home stretch.
The thing is though, in Australia, the vast majority of country music is sung in an American accent, not unlike the rap music wave of recent times, and therefore feels a little like a betrayal of spirit.
That said, the rap sector had it's end to the US accent problem, with the uprising of such Aussie rap artists as The Herd
And ...every man should own a pair, sure ...but every woman should, too. Don't forget them. :p
