First of all, to everyone who sent me birthday wishes...

I will reply to each of you as soon as I get some decent computer time... work has been sucking the life out of me lately (but it's all good b/c I get overtime pay).

It was a nice day aside from the fact that it was a work day. sixfeetunder took me to Biscotti's and gave me a gift card for the Relaxer package at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Clud Spa - swedish massage, pedicure, body wrap,... all kinds of good stuff. I can't wait! I love those girlie kinds of things.

My friends took me out yesterday, which was a lot of fun. Tonight my in-laws are taking us out... and this weekend, my parents and sister are celebrating with us. I get really embarrassed when I get this kind of attention, but it's also really nice to spend time with the people who matter to me the most.

Monday night, by the way, kicked ASS. sixfeetunder, Gina, and Mike, and I saw Metallica at the arena. We had floor tickets and were about 4 feet from the band. It was one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen... we also caught guitar picks that they threw into the audience. Yay!!!!

Anyhow, I've taken an especially long lunch today, so it's time to go back to work...

1) What's the best gift you've ever given?
Hmmm... I ask these questions, and then I can't answer them. Well, I gave my mom remastered audio tapes of my sister and I as kids with her and my dad for Mother's Day a few years ago. I put one of the tapes in her car so it would automatically come on when she started it up... once she realized what it was, she cried. That was kind of cool.

2) What's the best concert you've seen?
The Pixies in Oct. 2004 and Metallica on Monday night - I can't believe we saw the 2 most incredible shows in one year.
