Hi guys and girlies,

I've been a bad SG member lately... too much work, too little Internet.

So how is everyone? We made it through Frances OK, and even got some great video footage out of it... now we'll see what happens with Ivan...

I just read a sick book, The End of Alice by A. M. Homes. I felt sick the entire time I was reading it, but Homes' writing is great and I couldn't put it down... Has anyone else read this? If so, what did you think? I'm still trying to decide - I have mixed feelings.

We got our hotel reservations for the Pixies show in ATL! Thank you, Bossanova for the recommendation. We went with your suggestion, and the place looks lovely. Can't wait to see you and everyone else there!

OK, a couple questions for you...
1. What's your favorite article of clothing?
A certain pair of pink fullback panties that I only wear to bed, and my mom's high school T-shirt (class of 69).

2. What was your favorite toy as a kid?
My "Whoopsie" doll - when you squeeze her stomach, her pigtails go up, and she makes a squeaky sound (sounds like"whoopsie" - go figure). I still have her. I was also in love with my chemistry set.

3. What color(s) should I dye my hair? I'm tired of it...
