It's been a looong week - my last week at work. I thought I'd be happy to say, "Fuck you guys. I'm out," but I was actually pretty sad. My boss took my closest work friends and me to lunch at Vinoe yesterday, which was nice. Then he took everyone out for drinks yesterday afternoon. When we finally left, I was pretty sad. I will never have such a cool boss elsewhere - and I will really miss seeing my friends every day. My closest friend there resigned this week and another friend goes on maternity leave in October and probably won't come back, so we would have been split up sooner or later... but the whole thing was still kind of bittersweet. I keep telling myself I'll feel better when I get my first paycheck from my new job. At least, I hope so.
