I'm super happy today, summer is coming back today! After 2 weeks of shit weather, cloudy, rainy and extra cold, I woke up today and it was sunny and warm. Great! It made my work less painful. Actually I've been extremely productive and could even spend some time doing nothing... what a weird feeling.
Going tomorrow to Zurich for some creepy art world session; organized museum visits, meetings with art collectors and some VIP dinner. Sounds terrible like this, but it could be actually fun, depending on who's attending.
Monday, super hardcore art session again in Basel for the opening of the Art Fair. Funny thing to know how a lot of artists work usually in a very intimate way and to see all these works displayed like some kind of popcorn or exquisite luxury watch (depends on the gallery showing). I alwways get this weird feeling that art is anyway just business and nothing else. Or maybe decoration...sometimes.
Still, I really enjoy it; I just have to unplug some parts of my brain and be a vegetable...
I wonder how the Venice Biennale went for my Swiss friends showing...
