So this weekend at drill we all got our orders for the deployment. I leave January 3rd, and they say anywhere from 400-550 days on them, so I've got no idea when the hell I'm coming home.
I've got 4 weeks left of freedom, so I'm gonna try to relax, maybe get in touch with some friends I havent seen or talked to in a while (that includes people from SG), and enjoy myself.
The first couple of months after we get activated is going to be training time. I'm not sure about mail there but as soon as I get my overseas address, its going to get posted here. We dont know yet about internet access overseas, so I may or may not have AIM/MSN/Yahoo overseas. If it comes down to it, letters may be all I have so dont be surprised if you send me something and it takes a couple weeks each way for things.
I'll try to keep everyone updated as much as I can about my life before I leave, and hopefully people can get in touch with me.
