harper's weekly review 5-15
highlights:
"Reverend Al Sharpton promised that Mormon presidential candidate Mitt Romney would be defeated by "those that really believe in God," and it was revealed that Romney's wife, Ann, donated $150 to Planned Parenthood in 1994." (gasp. WHORE!)
"Researchers at Johns Hopkins University linked throat cancer to oral sex."
"The Senate passed a bill that would lift a 1975 ban on the sale of baby turtles, but would require safety pamphlets warning children about the risks."
"The Pope traveled to Brazil, where he canonized a nineteenth-century friar who healed people by giving them written prayers in pill form."

prom was this weekend. i have to say, prom isn't what it used to be. it's too much now.... i liked it when it was just at thee parkside, not even a crazy fancy affair. just goodtimes and people really interested in meeting each other. i suppose that still happens, but now everyone has their little cliques and groups of friends that they already know (me included in this statement) and enjoy the company of. but i will probably keep going to them, if they keep having them... because i am a sucker. and the bus-a-bus was the whip cream, hot fudge, nuts and cherry on top of this weekend.
and maple syrup: OBV. (which btw the smell of made my hangover almost unbearable. and no i couldn't have washed it off. pssshhh, what are you people thinking.)
in my mind, pubsquat is the new prom. and my mind is where it's at.
it was good to see people, and i did meet a few new folks who i look forward to getting to know even better.
-------------------------------
i really don't want to be at work right now. i have to do this big PPC campaign. and it's boring and i don't wanna. so i am just going to work on it at home, as i watch bad surgery shows and no reservations.
btw. anthony bourdain==love. seriously. i LOVE him. LOVE.

side news: i bought a rowing machine. and lost my nose ring... i think i swallowed it. don't ask.
EDITED: i found my nose ring! i didn't swallow it! yay!
