so often i sit with my journal, pouring out questions, so eager to discover the meaning of my existence, regergitating all my doubts, all my yearnings, all my insecuities. looking back at past entries (non SG) i find something quite different than what i had at the time. in them i find the very answers to the questions i was asking...i find poetry and insight. i discover in myself that it is important to listen to my soul as it cries for freedom and escape. do what you know is right...dont be persuaded to follow the compostion of normalcy. this is my life. fly.
Happy MadHatterDay Everyone!! MadHatterDay is a holiday in October. It fills the need for a second crazy day in the year, almost exactly half a year from April Fools' Day. The real spirit of MadHatterDay is turnabout: The nonsense we usually have to pretend is sane can be called madness for one day in the year; the superficially crazy things that really make sense can be called sane on MadHatterDay.
MadHatterDay is 10/6. The date was chosen from the illustrations by John Tenniel in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, wherein the Mad Hatter is always seen wearing a hat bearing a slip of paper with the notation "In this style 10/6".

"the soil...it strangles me"
P-town is good for fun, but if you're looking for some thinking time... trees and lush green existance does it for me... Sandy Oregon is a great place for that. It's on the way to Mt. Hood.. there is lots of untouched space. you could get a room in the town and just romp around and climb trees. I'm not sure where a good place to find oneself would be...I find and lose myself on a daily basis. I hope you find a wonderful space.
