Friday 10th June 2016 - A day that started like the previous 2 days, the sun was shining down and my tent was starting to feel like the inside of a volcano. I headed over to my friend's camp for a couple hours of drinking and discussion on who everyone wanted to see today. At 11:15am I started to make my way to the main arena first up was a trip to the firestone stage, a small stage at the top right corner of the kennels right next to the NXT arena and the NXT network zone which I popped into to watch wrestling highlights and got my picture taken with a full size replica NXT title belt before heading back to watch Delain's acoustic set and near perfection that is Delain's lead singer Charlotte Wessels. The slow acoustic numbers including one of my favourite songs are you done with me made me ever more excited to see the full band live on sunday. Next up was the main stage for Alien Ant Farm for a bit of early 2000's nostalgia. During there performance I started to feel little drops of rain fall on me after 2 days of baking sunshine this light drizzle felt amazing. AAF had finished there set so I decided to explore a bit more when all of a sudden drizzle became a light shower and a light shower became an absolute fucking downpour. Luckily I managed to take shelter in the team rock radio tent watching people get turned away because the tent was full. After about 20 minutes the rain stopped and I decided to head back to camp to change from my trainers to my wellies. The walk back to my tent absolutely destroyed my trainers and sock which in the end I had to throw away (luckily they were only a cheap pair I bought for download) an hour later I headed back to the arena and got back in time for the Lemmy tribute and what a let down it was. A 20 video package, That's it? No tribute band just a video of people talking about Lemmy mixed with past motorhead performances. What a disappointing way to "honour" one of the greatest men in rock. next up was a return to the NXT arena, I had only planned to do 1 NXT show however with the weather I thought it might be best to go in and get out of the rain. Due to US shows none of the main NXT superstars were here yet so we had a show with some of the newest additions to the NXT roster including Hugo Knox and former ICW superstar Nikki Storm. The big surprise however was the appearance of Baron Corbin in the main event. In the end it was a decent show, not bad but not great either however it was now time for the real main event of the night Rammstein however as there show started the heavens opened again and half way through there set I had decided I had had enough for the day and headed back to my tent for some sleep and hope that tomorrow would be a better day.
