ugh, it was so fucking hot today. i can't wait to go to iceland. nice 70's weather, light 24 hours. yipee!
adam's grandmother asked if i'd try and sell some of her old coins on ebay. i don't know shit about coins so i did a little research on what she had. fuck me, she had a rare 1887 morgan silver dollar worth thousands! um, yeah. "hey grammy, i'll keep that!" My mom also asked me to come over and go through some of her things to be put up including some old icelandic stamps from when she was a kid (these sell well on ebay). i should make a business out of this! my mom has a bronze medal from the 1984 olympics in la, but i doubt she'll want to sell that. she was in the opening ceremonies wearing a traditional icelandic costume and they gave one to her for that. crazy, huh?
i've been writing to my old best friends husband. sara was killed in a car accident in 1999. it's been really great to hear about all the things that he has been up to and to be reassured that she really loved me even though the last year of her life we weren't really talking. i think about her all the time and carry a lot of guilt over the fact that i never got to say goodbye or tell her that i still loved her. talking to him has sort of given me some peace on the subject.
well, it's time to go night night. i've got class tommorow bright and early.
