Panic! Excitement! Restlessness and joy! Ahh! Did I really do this?! Yesss omg!
Somewhere in April I had finally gathered my courage and send my application in to become a Hopeful SuicideGirl. I woke up with a good news e-mail, my favourite SG girl @penny following me on Instagram (fangirl mode went completely ON) then two months later amazing @drew shot my pictures. What!! I'm still figuring it out how this all works lol, working multiple (vanilla) jobs and managing different online platforms can make your head spin, but I am soOoOoO excited to have an actual profile here, haha! And good thing, I like to ramble, so it shouldn't be the hardest thing to make blog posts here 🥳
Shall I write a bit about myself? Yeah, why not :). My name is Angela but online I go by Baby Ghoul (because I like all things cute and spooky, duh). I'm from The Netherlands. I live together with my three ratties and two cats. I found out about SuicideGirls when I was around 14 through MySpace and remembered thinking "O M G I want to be a SG when I grow up". Not even joking! Though along the way there were always reasons why I didn't go for it (relationship, insecurities, blah blah) and now that I've finally blossomed (lol), I wanted to give it a shot!
So, I love listening to music. I'm mostly just into Goth Rock, New Wave, Gothic- Nu or Symphonic Metal, Post Hardcore (or Screamo), Industrial Hardcore, 80s Rock/Classics, 80s Rock, Alternative Rock but I do have a broad taste in music! I always like to go to big Dutch Raves with rougher Hardcore/Gabber music (we're famous for it!) or concerts. I enjoy walks in nature too, I live 5 minutes from a beautiful forest and 10 minutes from the dunes. I believe nature heals and it's a great way to just clear my head and centre myself :). I study the Tarot. I occasionally read for myself or for friends. It's a hobby and I enjoy learning more about it. I'm a thrift shop addict and have a rule: only one visit per month to the thrift shops. Otherwise my apartment will be completely filled with old dusty treasures whoops. I'm a virgo, meaning I'm quite organised, always on time, I can't stand lies (who can though), have good communication skills and like planning ahead. My moon is Scorpio. Mhm, my mood can go from extremely happy to crying, because I feel my emotions very intensely. I have a close connection to my sexuality and am a true sexual and sensual being. My rising sign is Gemini. Around people I get super social, joke around, dance silly. I'm always up to have some fun! I think people think I'm super outgoing, but don't forget I'm still a virgo and NEEED my alone time to recharge! Yes, I enjoy my own company the most 😌!
I'm a 6 feet tall gal and slim built. It's something I'm very conscious of and although I have accepted my body type, the comments on it make sure I'm pretty much always aware of how tall and slim I am.. Please always be mindful of how you comment on someone's body because you probably don't know anything about someone's struggles or insecurities!
Hey, are you still here, or did I bore you maybe? Well, I'll keep it short from here. I have a great bond with my fam and friends - no secrets, all supportive, we got each others back. I'm super blessed to have them around and am just grateful to what has come to me this last year! No no, grateful for what I've achieved this last year. Yes, that sounds better :). I am starting to understand that when you set your mind to certain things, they will happen and that like attracts like (also in people)!
Hopeful to see what comes next, eager to work hard for it..
