This film. THIS FILM. Is what kicked my ass into performing at open mic night.
And it's what inspires me to only ask for a microphone, amp, and new guitar strings for Christmas.
This film puts me at a loss for words when trying to convince you that you HAVE to see it and as soon as possible.
This isn't some advertising or marketing bullshit thing, this is a person telling other people to watch a piece of art.
So I'm going to let you read this review from a person who bought it and experienced what I experienced, they say it exactly how I would have.
"So maybe you're not a fan of these 3 great musicians, or you're not into guitar, or even music for that matter, this documentary is really about the passion in a human soul. It's about finding our God-given purpose for a craft and pursuing it with all our hearts. That's the story of these 3 generations of guitarists. You'll likely find yourself in at least one of these guys and you'll relate with whatever your "thing" is, to how they love making music on their instrument. So, if you need a good shot in the arm or kick in the butt about moving on with your own passion, watch this movie. Remember, these aren't actors, they're real people, talking about what they love. You see it in their eyes, you hear it in their voice. . . And when Jimmy Page breaks out the riff of "Whole Lotta Love", you see the gleam in Edge and Jack's eyes. You'll feel it in your soul too, when you watch this great piece of art."
