So this week's @bloghomework is an interesting one, especially with a $1.3 billion lottery prize up for grabs. I would personally take the lump sum payout, pay my taxes, and live VERY comfortably on the interest for the rest of my days. At about $6 million a year, I'm pretty sure I could live well and knock every last thing on my list off in very short form. So, @missy and @rambo here goes...
1. Take a cruise around the world. There are several cruise lines that specialize in this and I would choose the one with the widest range and largest number of ports of call.
2. Go anyplace on my list where the ship doesn't stop. This includes the Galapagos Islands and Easter Island along with several others.
3. Visit Stonehenge at Solstice. The ultimate Pagan pilgrimage. While in the UK I would also want to visit various Pagan landmarks and locations. I'd spend a day or two in London if the opportunity arose but it's second on the list.
4. Learn to fly an airplane. I want to learn how to fly both a prop plane (like a Cessna) and a small jet.
5. Learn to ride a Motorcycle... and buy one!
This was supposed to be my reward for losing nearly 200 pounds but then life happened and the money just hasn't been there to do it. Still, I have this on my radar when the time comes:
I think all of this is a good start. There are other things but I'm pretty sure I'd need to hit the PowerBall to accomplish them.
