opened the coffeeshop this morning at 6am like i'm spos'd to...i bike to work from davis islands to hyde park village, which is roughly 2 miles...not a bad commute at all! anyway though, suuuper windy this morning..and chilly for florida...i had difficulty pedaling over the brige from the wind! (the sea was angry that day my friend!) :p

this was awesome today...kinda. one of my regular customers, ernie, who usually comes in the afternoon when it's slow to read to his paper and chat with the young ladies...ha...he's a jersey man...retired military and police etc..he's great...but a dirty old man...ANYway...i digress...he didn't like waiting. it wasn't even a huge rush..just that i had a lady order 3 different milk type lattes..and i'm alone...soo of course it's gonna take a few minutes..
and then getting to the other customers after her...

finally i get to ernie and he loudly exclaims, "doesn't anybody order a regular coffee anymore??!!"...haa...was amusing. i'm used to the orders of a half extra shot of espresso in their latte...or a THIRD of a splenda in their drink...holy crap! OR the extra extra hot, nf decaf cinnamon 2 raw sugar no foam latte, with light whip...*sigh*

not sure what all my rambling was for now...

but it felt niiice.
