Got to explore this abandoned warehouse building during my community ervice hours today. I really should bring the camera because we always end up in some interesting places. They wanted me to check it out to see if I could find a way in since none of them could, my experience in urban warfare paid off and we were in. The whole place was so weird though, like eight floors of just all this crap on each level, old ass shelves full of metal and busted machinery all rusted out. Boxes full of promotional items for cities, I grabbed a few Little Rock the heart of Arkansas key chains. A bunch of people had done throw ups inside and I saw some shit from a friend of mine, that pissed me off since he never told me about this place before. Everyone in their before had already had all the fun though, all the fire extinguishers were empty, the cool shit to break was broken and the vending machines were all busted open and raided. We finally made it to the roof after navigating several stair wells. I was suprised at how un-hit up it all was, you could chill and paint up there for hours and not get caught. Shit was like a mini city in there though, like there were three different levels of roof and two of them each had rooms to explore inside, they weren't all soaked up and nasty like the ones below them either. Nice dry wall that had been busted out by people partying (beer cans everywhere) and chairs stuck in the walls, plenty of rooms that would have been great places to squat, bathrooms and all that. When I finally got to the top to check out this billboard that had been bombed we got the call to come back to the yard. On the way back down we took a different stairway to see if there any other ways in/out. Got to one level, I think the sixth floor, where it had been swept all nice and the next two flights down were covered in broken glass and pieces of coffee mugs, it looked like someone had intentionaly done it, so they could hear if people were coming up the stairs. I got a weird feeling after that, like maybe we were intruding, and it just added to the paranoia I get from seeing birds flying around inside so we double paced it out.
Shit like that is cool though, a piece of history just left in limbo forever, but even as it rusts over and falls apart it becomes something entirely new, as a home to animals birds and even people, and a playground to us outcasts.
I want to travel across the country now and check out as many abandoned or forgotten structures as I can and collect a piece from each one. Would be cool to make a documentary film about it all too.

werd to documentation... i'm a junky. recently, i've decided to start drawing comics to document the scenarios that i haven't been able to video tape.. "reality" is crazy!
HAHAHAHAHHA. i've never lived in the cuntry... boreding skool seclusion doesn't count.
