It's Mom's birthday today. She teaches piano, used to teach music to children, taught french and english to metally challenged teens, and gave up a promising career to raise me and my brothers. I love my mom, but she has real problems, most people say their parents are "crazy", but it's not really true it's just how they themselves may feel, well my mom has real problems and it's hard to deal with. The only way it does work is to not really see her or talk to her too much because the more of that that goes on the harder things become to deal with. So I'm going over there today to see her, my parents are split and just going to the house is difficult, because there is just this really sad vibe to it now, and the longer I stay the worse I feel, but it makes her happy to see me, so today I will go do that.
In happier news, I leave for Montreal tomorrow and will be chillin with Eli, look for pics of all the craziness that will go down through the 12th. I can't wait to get outta here and spend some time in a new place with new people the leo's will own the city for ten days sucka.

The big heavyweight 45 to come out of Cincinnati was Leroy and the Drivers - Sad Chicken (http://www.funk45.com/rm/leroy_and_the_drivers_-_the_sad_chicken.ram) unfortuntally there were about 500 pressed up and it now commands the big cash (2500 was the last i heard) .. if you ever see it, its on a green big hole label on Duo records get it up on Ebay fast and cop the Stones Throw reissue . There a nice local version of Melting Pot (the Kool and the Gang jam) by a band thats confusingly called Melting Pot on Ampex records. Sorry i get caught up in this geek stuff, what kinda music do you spin?
