So, after a day of skating, the star board was peaced.
Still gonna keep it though. Learned frontside shuvits and nollie bigspins on it, as well having one of the best days of skating in my life. All day and into the night. Fuck it felt good, my legs still hurt a little today it was that good. I hadn't done a nollie big since 2000 at the seaport benches in NYC, and even then it was more of a fluke, but I learnt them bitches now. Got some fs shuvs finally after a few beers, that trick always confused the fuck outta me, but I did a bunch somehow.
This is the new board. Originally it had two lines of star patterns on each side and some blue tracer circles, but after I got done it looked too much like a fucking easter egg, so I had to paint over it and do it over. It's better now. I think I'm going back to customizing every board I skate, or at least doing grip art again. Just need a bunch of new paint markers and I'm set.
