so this weeks blog homework is: How has SG changed your life? .. and i really wanted to participate in this one because i have been seeing so much negativity going around lately and it isn't fair at all.
Suicidegirls has changed my life in the sense that i feel more comfortable with myself. It feels good to be part of such a big, well known and awesome community. Being able to blog all my feelings, photos, thoughts and questions freely and having feedback and people to talk to is always comforting.
I have also met some lovely people through this website, who I'm thankful to meeting. I also had 3 people come up to me at the weekend in my regular club and asked to have their photo taken with me, and i was so taken aback with that as I'm just me, nothing special! But it felt nice to recognised and appreciated and the three of them were all so lovely!
This website also allows me to be myself. To show people the real Rachy, to express myself without being judged. To post natural, relaxed photos and sets that show the real me.
Seeing new sets of me pop up on the home-page and finding people actually liking and commenting on it is such a welcoming feeling. Like my last set Living Breathing Something, i think really captures the relaxed, soft me - and people actually liked it! And whether any get set of the day or not I'm still really proud of what i have achieved so far. And i will continue to keep trying until i get where i want to, and then even still i will push myself harder to keep all those who follow and support me, happy! Suicidegirls gives me something to work towards.
SG has changed my life positively, and I'm sad to see some girls give negative feedback about the site. By the looks of things i think these days, people are all for the image and not the work. All for the status and not wanting to actually be part of the bigger community, which is a shame. I love to flick through the blogs and see what people are up to and what the topics of the day are. And of course the obvious, check out all the gorgeous babes! I work full time though and have a niece who likes to run about like crazy at night lol! so my free time is limited, but whenever i get a chance to pop on, join in on the banter, its always awesome.
@bloghomework Suicidegirls - stay awesome. You are changing all these girls/members lives for the better. Negativity isn't welcome.
