it's funny you mention that... I was thinking about thunderstorms and rain yesterday... I spent alot of time in south florida for a while and I think the thing I miss the most are the daily thunderstorms. It'd be amazing, you would watch them roll in, as a sheet of rain and lightning and thunder and they'd exist for you and then they'd roll away... The pavement would steam and you could walk around barefoot without getting your feet burned off cause the rain cooled it down! I miss that. Cali has just entered it's dry season.. no more rain here for a while. Also the rain is different, The temperature is cold, almost freezing and it'll drizzle for days, releasing the same amount of water that a southern rain storm would. sigh...

the want for simpler times... and the simple pleasures of rain. (I need to get out of cali once my work here is done.)

hmm.. kay. random q which you don't have to answer... since you're in the military, how is the base taking the photos of the prisioners and the rumors surrounding them?
