Hello friends,
I'm still getting my bearings around the site and can't stop feeling like the new kid at school or the younger brother that wants to hang out with the older, cooler, people. But so far this place is great. I love the pictures of kick-ass girls, and the whole community aspect is an unexpected and welcome bonus. In a word: rad.
Not sure how to begin a journal. It makes me think about the proverb of the tree falling in the forest and nobody there to hear it; if I write an online journal but nobody else reads it, does it really exist?
To make life super disorienting, not only am I new on this site, but I'm a n00be in real life - I just moved to a new city! I've been living in London for the last 5 years and have made the pilgramige to Los Angeles to carve out my fortune in Hollywood. The culture shock is major - I'm still way too pale to blend in with the locals and I'm having a hard time getting healthy. I even had my first yoga class last week, and thankfully nobody burst out laughing. But the lifestyle change is exactly what I need. London was fun, but I think my 5 years there took a decade off my life.
Well, I have to get to work now but I promise more journal will come. I can already tell this website is going to be a severe vacuum of free time. Catch you later! javascript:insertSmilie('
