Well Well Well....
Orlando was a freaking blast this weekend, it was also a great weekend because I had my first and probably only visitors my apartment will see. So we left for Orlando after I got off work on Friday, but we had no idea what we were in for. What was supposed to be a 2 and a half hour drive turned into damn near a 6 hour drive! There was this really bad accident involving a tractor trailer and two motorcycles, traffic was FUCKED. We arrived in Orlando like 7 o clock and my mom met up with one of her friends she used to work with and we all headed over to the city walk. We split up and me and my brother hung out at the walk till like 12, had a nice dinner att he nascar cafe and walked around singing the booty song haha (the one from 98 rock...those up north might know what I'm talking about.) We woke up the next morning and headed to Islands of Adventure, the first thing we did was ride The Incredible Hulk (badassss), now my mom doesnt ride suspended coasters, but me and my brother talked her into getting on. I've never heard her scream so loud in my life hahaha. She had her eyes closed the whole time but she loved it she said. We went and checked out the Spiderman 3d adventure ride next, which was totally wicked awesome! I'd love to explain these things but I'm so horrible at it haha. We walked around the park some more and got on the Jurassic Park River Adventure which is basically a log flume type ride with the steepest drop I've ever experienced, pure craziness. We all walked through Suess' Landing and it was so kiddy but it was great. We actually waited in line for like a half hour to get on the Cat In The Hat ride but it was pretty corny. We got a 2 day pass for both parks so we made our way over to Universal Studios, which was equally badass but not as many coasters as IoA. The first thing we did was hit the Twister experience or whatever, I tried to take a picture while the "simulator" thing was going on but it didn't come out too great...they basically recreated the scene from the drive-in in the movie...explosions and fire...def bad ass. We basically walked around the park just to see what was up with it. The Back To The Future ride was pretty neat but the car your're in gets jerked around a little too much, I felt bad for my mom..she had to sit in the middle while and me my brother were squishing her..haha. Of course we had to get on the Jaws ride which again was corny but the guide on the boat had the voice for his job and made it interesting, I thought so at least. We were all pretty beat by then so we decided to see the Shrek 4-D show and had no idea how long wed have to wait in line. It was over a half hour wait but it was so worth it, one of the funniest things I've seen in a while plus the whole 3-d glasses thing was badasss. We were going to stick around for the Mardi Gras parade but we were all hungry and wanted to relax so we went back to our hotel room. My mom chilled and read a book and my brother was having girl problems so we went out to the parking lot and smoked a bowl or two and just talked. It was really neat too because while we were sitting in the parking lot we could hear Lynnard Skynnard (spelling?) playing over at Universal Studios. We couldnt hear the words but we could hear the music for Sweet Home Alabama and Freebird. So we went to the game room after we heard Skynnard was done and played some cool games, had fun, and talked some more. I really like bonding with my brother...it sucks we didn't get along for so long. Anyways we went to Universal first thing on Sunday to get on the MIB ride which was pretty neat...you sat in a cart and there's a gun you get to shoot aliens with as you're spun around. The Mummy Returns ride was pretty wild as well...a lot of special effects....pretty much like the Flight Of Fear at Kings Dominion. After that we headed back to Islands of Adventure and me and my brother waited like 45 minutes to get on the front row of The Hulk....soooooo worth the wait! I almost spent all my money on this one thing that I'm going to try to explain, there was this log flume ride and it went under a bridge, but on the bridge there were "blaster" machines where you put a quarter in and you push a button and you can spray people with these hoses as they ride by, tooo much fun! After that we pretty much walked around...took pictures and did some shopping. My mom bought me a bunch of stuff I told her NOT to buy me, but she hasnt been able to spend money on me for a while and I guess she wanted to since I know she's been able to save some since I've moved down here haha. Got a little something for Mercie, JamieLee, and xviolentxbeautyx and they deserve for staying up late talking to me helping me keep my sanity. Got a few other little things for some people and then we all headed back to my apartment. It sucks because they're both gone but I had a great time when they were here and even better, my mom got to spend part of her birthday here with me and and my brother.. All I need is more visitors and I guess I'm just going to have to bug people to come down here or bug Star and Matt to come over hehe. Well I'm going to update my picture thingy now since I JUST got done resizing all of them, it's only the pics from my camera...I'll have more once my mom makes a cd for me. But yeah....this is a long update and I'm tired so I'm going to upload pics and cook me some food.
