Sooooooooooo....
On May 3rd, my boyfriend lost his sense of smell. I never had any symptoms, except a migraine when I started my period, but this didn't felt related.
We locked ourselves in AS SOON as he noticed, we called the 1 877 phone line and waited 16 days to get tested as they asked us without ever getting out or seeing any one. We totally agreed it was the best thing to do,
Tried to get the most sun I could from my window, as you can see here or might have saw in the new app!
We haven't went out in 16 days, we don't even have a balcony, so yeah, no health walk no nothing except the walls we already had seen enough since mid-March. I've worn those hairbuns for like 4 days, as you can tell by how frizzy my hair is.
We finally went out on Tuesday to get tested. Last time I went out before, I had my winter coat. Tuesday it was 18 degrees out, Sun was shining, we really did enjoy the walk to the hospital, and hoped for the best. Here's some pictures we took during our memorable walk. Felt like New York in 94, I don't know why. Maybe because it's the last time I was there and the pictures I took have the same colors.
Not even 24h later, we got a call: we tested positive. They asked us to stay in another 14 days.
Fuck. We were sad. Just to go outside doing the groceries pandemic-mode felt like an oasis dream we wished we could grasp but all are hopes have been crushed.
And now, today, Public Health Departement calls us again telling us they studied our case, and that we shouldn't be contagious, we are now allowed to go back to normal measures! We popped a bottle, I kid you not!
But now, funniest part, we're kinda scared to go back out. Some other news next week I guess !
You, what's up? Still healthy? Have you got tested? Know someone who had it? It's weird to have it without any symptoms, feeling like a lethal weapon kind of... Anyway
Stay sane and safe and sexyYYY!
