I want a blender. Just read about all these smoothies you can make it sounds Gersguy proof. All this week I have had no red meat.....don't worry this weekend will be BEEF! My family can't have a function of any kind without it. Been eating well too because I know that there will be beer....lots of non-light beer. In fact there is a keg of Guiness coming in. Nice. Just one more day until I leave. Busy night tomorrow night. Laundry and packing. I always tell myself that I will pack throughout the week and I end up doing it in less than half an hour. Rental car at the airport means that my iPod will be playing what I want....when I want. Anything else that I can ramble on about in an attempt to make a interesting/dull journal? Well....got the new Family Guy movie.....funny shit there kiddies. There is a line, "Can you shave my coin purse" that made me blow water out of my nose. Nice. Night FREAKS!!

To make the raster poster I went to this site the rasterbator. On the site you can upload an image and choose how many pages you want it to take up and how big you want the dots to be (the image is made up of dots when you print it out) and it generates a .pdf file with all the pages that make up the image.

But to make the one on my wall I downloaded the standalone program which lets you do smaller dots (it looks a lot better with smaller dots). I made my poster with 3mm dots. From a distance it's hard to tell it's made of dots at all!

It's a really cool program, the only bad part is it takes a while to put the poster together... you have to cut off the margins if you want a seamless image. And you have to sit there and tape it all together... but I think it's worth it!
