First would like to say Thank You very much to all of you who showed up on SG and gave me b-day wishes. It was a nice surprise and I even made a few new buds! Yes, now I am thirty and don't really feel it. The idea of known that forty is only ten years away doesn't scare me at all. Between the ages of twenty and thirty I accomplished so much. So to all of you who are afraid of the big 3 0...don't be it ain't all that bad!
On to the next item at hand. The proposed Pod Casting group that I applied for today. Always wanted to try my hand at being a disc jockey and pod casting would be a great start. The only problem is that I don't know that much about it and it is very hard to build a listener base. With a SG group under my control I feel that all of us could learn a lot about this new form of media/communication. Not to mention the exposure that SG would get. I have a very good mix of music and with only 16,000 songs at my fingertips at any given time there is bound to be something in there you will enjoy. Not to mention the disappointment of losing some very good radio in this area (99.1 WHFS and Oldies 106.9) it would be refreshing to regain a similar format again. You know.....the format where the disc jockey talks a little bit about the song instead of a computer playing a play list over and over. Also, wouldn't all of you love to hear my voice without having to look at me? Please give me input on this and if I get turned down then I will give you staff to help me contact. This is something that I am passionate about and would really enjoy.
Next issue will contain the image of my tattoo.
This is the newest 30 year old kid from Wisconsin signing off.
