Hello!! What a great Sunday morning it is. Sunny and not too cold, but cold enough to wake your ass up when it hits you.
today will be mostly spent cleaning! Yes, even the almighty Gersguy has to clean. I know you are saying, "why the hell does it take him all day to clean?" Because I am moving stuff around in my bedroom and organizing some stuff for the move. Probably will be going to buy two or four new pillows today also. Have a friend coming down from New York this weekend and would like to give her a new pillow. Still trying to figure out what to do on Friday and Saturday. Let me know if there are any good shows those nights please!!
On Friday night met up with vinyle and her buddy at the Side Bar in Baltimore. Saw four bands for nine bucks. All were in the hard side of punk or straight edge hardcore. MC RAD was there at the end. They were probably my favorite. Thier drummer looks like he is the drummer from Bad Brains, but not sure about that. vinyle's buddies band was pretty good also. Had a good time hanging out with her and meeting some cool people from Philly. The Cut Off's were there too. In another week they will be in rotation on GUNK radio.
Saturday I worked for a few hours and went to lunch with my boss. For the last week he has been trying everything to get me to stay. He really is a great boss and has turned into a good friend. Friends with your boss you say? Yeah...have been for years. He isn't the type to have bad feelings because I am leaving because he knows I am bettering myself. Other than that went to California Burrito and ate, came home and played xbox football with the roommate until midnight or so. He is getting better at playing, but he gets mad when I take a huge lead. It's just a dumb game and that is how I look at it.
Joined My Space and created a profile and all that junk. We will see what happens. Don't see it taking much time away from SG though. Have met so many really great people and maybe even life long friends on here.
Leave you with a question that I answered in my profile on My Space.
So tell me who is your hero?
"I don't care about what they say
I won't live or die that way"
