I've had this inexpensive LP Jr for awhile now, and I had left it at my brother's place in Colorado, but then swapped it out for my other (Sticker) Epiphone LP II that I also upgraded. So since this Jr was here now, I upgraded it once again as well... I had already added the single coil pickups before, but its poles weren't lining up with the strings, so I replaced it with a Telecaster pickup. Changing the neck pickup meant I had to make a new pickguard since the Tele pickup is smaller than a regular single coil. I like that I changed the tailpiece bridge system to a separate tailpiece and bridge.
I always name my guitars, and since she's a LES Paul with a TELEcaster neck pickup, she will now be named LESTELE... pronounced like Leslie with a "T" sound added.
