My Dad originally bought it from another man for $75.00. I remember my Dad telling me this, but I had never seen the guitar. It was years ago and I had completely forgotten about it, and after they (parents) had both passed, we found it as we were sorting through what they left behind. I almost discarded this junked guitar, until I remembered what it was and what he intended to do with it. This 1965 Fender Jaguar became my first guitar project. It was in very bad shape asyou can tell by the top of the picture. Everything of what it was originally was nearly ruined. But I restored it and was pleased that I had done so for my father. But it still had some problems and needed further work, so I eliminated more of it's original parts and modified it. It wasn't until after I played it a bit that I realized that I didn't much have a use for all the switches and knobs they have, that I decided to make it just right for me. It is now finished and has become my guitar. Thanks, Dad.
