So, sometimes I build a guitar... other times, I adapt a guitar. I bought this bass guitar at a pawn shop awhile back because my brother (a bass player) was coming to visit. Recently, I added another pickup at the neck and a separate volume control for that pickup. I had also changed out the pick guard... was white before. I like it better, blue. Sounds good, and it was a fun challenge.
I have three more guitar build projects in the works, and after I complete them, I'll book a model to pose with them all (this bass, and my purple Telecaster... which neither had been shot with a model yet). I enjoy seeing my creations in images I shoot, posed with a lovely model. It's fun to bring things you do together for a common end result.
I enjoy the entire process and end results.
