Last few days have been great.
To catch up, the date went not as expected, but was a lot of fun regardless. It became a little less like a date.
She was modeling for one of her friends for fun and it was taking longer than she had thought, so she invited me to come hang out when they were shooting.
They shot for awhile, then eventually we took a break and went on got a round of drinks. We decided to not go back to shooting, so we just went to another bar. It ended up being a lot of fun hanging out with her friends and kicking back a few shots and drinks.
Few days ago once I got off work I ended up meeting her at the Funhouse for a show, a bunch of old friends were there as well, including Caroline and T.Jay. Surprise, Caroline got fucking hammered, and shit hit the fan eventually. We'll go into that in a moment. As I was leaving talking to Lauren she saw my motorcycle and said she wanted to go on a ride with me, even though she hasn't been on one in ten years or so. We made plans to go on a ride the next morning (which was yesterday).
Now, later once I get home and as I'm trying to fall asleep, I get a phone call from Caroline (at 3 am). Apparently her and T.Jay had a fight, and someone called the cops because they were worried about K. They seperate the two, and bring K to my apartment. We chat for a few hours, she's pretty shaken up and upset. Things were getting pretty bad. She eventually leaves around 6 am and goes to get her car and go home (which I guess ended up in another big fight once T.Jay got home, great.)
A few hours of sleep later, off on the motorcycle ride with Lauren. We went on a nice 2 hour ride all around South Seattle, then eventually up to Green Lake and hung around the lake for awhile. I'm really digging this girl. It's the first time I've actually been interested in a relationship in a really long time. (Rather than just the one night stands and fuck buddies which has been going on for months) It's fun, it's a nice change. Still not sure where it's going.
Either way. Motorcycle ride was a lot of fun, over to the bartending shift, My old boss/old friend is no longer there. Little sad. New manager, not sure where that's going yet. I'll be working a bit more because of it.
Last night was a bit crazy. One of my best friends, Andrew, moved to London shortly after graduating High School. He's back in town visiting for a month and last night was our first night on the town together proper. It was a long, long late night. Lot's of old stories and jokes resurfacing. I was hurting pretty bad today, especially because I got called into work. It was a rough day. Last night was the first time I've blacked out in awhile..yeesh.
Was supposed to go out tonight again with Lauren, but she got a nasty bug this morning so she's bed ridden and unable to leave her place. Tomorrow I'm bringing her some miso soup to make her feel better before work.
Life has been good. Been keeping busy. Sometimes it's just good to document it for years to come. I do oh so love looking back at years past.
Also, mixed in with all this was the grand opening of an old coworker/friends new restaurant, Le Bete. The entire staff is made up of old friends and ex coworkers. It's really great seeing them open this place up and doing well.
Well, Cheers!

No mention of her possibly having a boyfriend.

You sound like you do a bad job at communicating.
