It's been an interesting week.
Met a girl at a bar, got a little drunk.
Girl takes me home. Not much sleep is had.
Rinse and repeat that with said girl almost every day the past week.
It's been a lot of fun.
She's pretty damn nifty. Grew up in Peru, likes to drink whiskey, an artist. She's a lot of fun joking around with and it's nice both being unattached. We drink together, go back to one of our places, sex-cuddle-sleep-sex-cuddle-sleep til someone has to go to work. No responsiblities, just fun for now.
And the bummer part of the story.
She's a bit of a transplant right now, without a real place of her own. She's been house sitting a place 2 blocks away from my place, and as of today she's going to go stay with a friend on Bainbridge Island. So, I probably won't be seeing very much of her anymore. Bummer! I was having a lot of fun. I grew fond of her company. It was kind of a perfect situation for me for where I'm at right now.
In other news. Last night saw Jello Biafra play with his new band. It was, almost humbling, seeing one of the men who got me into punk rock live, and he's still going strong. The encore they played Dead Kennedy songs, and as soon as he started singing holiday in cambodia the pit blew up like I've never seen a pit surge and I took a hard fall on my elbow. Fucking hurts like all hell.
Bartending is also a lot of fun (for now).
