SMOOTHEST TRANSITION LIKE A HAND UP YOUR SKIRT
Spring means my carpet is now painted gold with the leaking sun. Windows are cracked, stale cigarette smell lifts, my winter peacoat hangs alone, and vitamin D permeates my eyes.
I always said I'd move to Montreal if it weren't for the winters. However, after 23 years of witnessing the salt streaked streets of Detroit, I'm pretty sure I'd handle it. So maybe I should read up on French, split, and start the fuck over. I want culture, love, nurishment, and hope. This city has no hearts drawn around it's name. Better that way. Better.
A best friend of mine once said, "Geoff, every city sucks. You can't escape it. You should just remain, 'cause it'll be the same anywhere else."
Fuck that. Your home is what you make it, and I don't want this place made. I want it left, for selfish adventure and pure curiosity.
If I don't, I'll forever ditch class to write shitty chalkboard poems in vacant classrooms.
Arghh! I'm spitting in the sky dodging myself, and I'm completely content. I love tomorrow, hate yesterday.
Geoffrey

Vancouver? God no. I don't know where i'm moving to anymore. Was supposed to be Boston but your guess is as good as mine.
